Industry,Calif.-based Perrin Manufacturing has announced that it has acquired Surrey, B.C.’s Global Plastics Ltd. Global Plastics is a manufacturer of proprietary dispensers for the Away From Home (AFH) dispenser industry.

According to the Perrin, the acquisition will allow the companies to assume a leadership position in the AFH dispenser industry, serving manufacturers, distributors and end users in the janitorial/sanitation, paper, healthcare, industrial and food service markets.

Global Plastics was founded in 1989, and specializes in dispensing technology with complementary product offerings to that of Perrin’s. The combined Perrin and Global management team will be led by Chairman and CEO Dean deBuhr.

The partnership is backed by the resources of the majority shareholder, middle market private equity firm Kinderhook Industries. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
