Ann Arbor, Mich.-based polyethylene terephthalate (PET) provider Amcor PET Packaging has added two new vice presidents to its North American business unit.
The company has named William Featherstone as vice president, sales; and Kim Houchens as vice president, product development for North America.
Prior to joining Amcor, Featherstone served as senior vice president of sales and marketing for injection molder United Plastics Group, headquartered in Oak Brook, Ill. Houchens was formerly chief technology officer for Oakland, Calif.-based Nano-Tex Inc., a company that specialized in applying nano-material technology for textile applications.
“We are pleased to welcome both Bill and Kim to Amcor,” Frank Pellicori, vice president and general manager, beverage division, said. “Bill’s experience in commercial relationships will continue to reinforce our customer-driven initiatives[and] Kim’s extensive experience in product development will add a new dimension to our design and innovation capabilities.”
