Custom molder NS Technologies Group Inc. has acquired the Mitech Ignition division from aftermarket auto industry manufacturer the Pop & Lock Corporation.

Custom molder NS Technologies Group Inc. has acquired the Mitech Ignition division from aftermarket auto industry manufacturer the Pop & Lock Corporation.

The terms of the purchase have not been disclosed.

According to Milton, Ont.-based NS Technologies, the company plans to fully incorporate the business into its injection molding division located in nearby Whitby.

Headquartered in Welland, Ont., Pop & Lock Corporation has been in the aftermarket automotive industry for almost 20 years, and manufacturers almost 1,500 products.

Created in 2009 by Canadian thermoformer Custom Vacform Components Inc., NS Technologies is involved in vacuum forming, thermoforming, injection molding and rotational molding for a wide range of products including medical, off-highway vehicles, material handling, automotive and commercial equipment markets.
