Wittmann Canada has announced the appointment of Leonce and Stefan Tremblay of Anjou, Que.-based Anplast Inc. as the exclusive representatives for the company’s products in Quebec and the Maritimes.

Anplast has a longstanding relationship with Scarborough, Ont.-based Mould-Tek Industries Inc., acting as the company’s exclusive representative.

With the recent purchase of Mould-Tek’s assets by Wittmann Canada, Anplast will now offer its customers the complete range of automation and auxiliary equipment in addition to the other products they represent.

“We are very excited that Anplast has chosen to represent the entire Wittmann product line and will continue to support their customers by offering the largest, most complete range of innovative automation technology and auxiliary equipment to the plastics industry,” said Wittmann Canada president Rob Miller in a press release.

“Already, they have several orders for Wittmann blenders and are now working on several requests for other Wittmann products including dryers, material handling equipment, robots and automation systems,” he added.

Wittmann Canada announced that it was buying the M-Tek brand from Mould-Tek in June.
