Taiwanese auxiliary equipment manufacturer,Shini Plastics Technologies has opened a Canadian subsidiary in Mississauga, Ont., which will supply and market Shini’s machinery through OEM distributors and sales agencies.
The owner of Shini Plastics Technologies (Canada) Inc. is a familiar face in the Canadian plastics industry Richard Hamilton, president of auxiliary equipment manufacturer Hamilton Avtec Inc. in Mississauga, Ont.
While Shini’s machinery is currently sold directly to customers under the Hamilton Avtec name, Shini Canada is a completely separate entity, Hamilton explained.
Only OEM distributors and sales agencies, rather than plastics processors will be able to purchase Shini-brand machinery directly through Hamilton Avtec. Processors can, however purchase some Shini-made machinery from Hamilton Avtec that is branded with the Hamilton Avtec name.
Now, Hamilton can extend Shini’s reach into Canada by selling directly to customers through Hamilton Avtec, and to OEMs and sales agencies through Shini Canada.
Shini Canada’s entire product line-up includes granulators, vacuum loading equipment, vacuum loading systems, material dryers, water and oil mold temperature control units, as well as both air- and water-cooled portable chillers.
