Horn wins Decoma supplier of the year award (June 22, 2005)

Horn Plastics Inc. (Whitby, ON) has been named 2004’s supplier of the year by Decoma International Inc.(Concord, ON), a supplier of exterior vehicle appearance systems for the automotive industry.
This is only the second year that Horn has been supplying parts to Decoma, which is a division of Magna International. Horn, whose primary customer was Xerox, was left in the lurch several years ago when Xerox started outsourcing more and more of its parts production to China.
Since then, Horn’s automotive clientele has grown by leaps and bounds, now comprising about 40% of its business.
To accommodate this growing area of its business, in 2006 Horn will be adding another 45,000 square feet to its already 90,000 square foot facility, which will be used specifically for a proprietary process for automotive interiors.
