Brampton Engineering reaches safety milestone

Blown film equipment manufacturer Brampton Engineering has achieved four years without a lost time injury. At a company-wide lunch to celebrate this achievement, R.L. Bud Smith, president and CEO of Brampton Engineering congratulated employees for another milestone in their safety record. ” Safety, like quality, only improves when everyone takes responsibility.”
Manufacturing manager Bob Smith says the Joint Health and Safety Team at BE takes its job very seriously. "Monthly audits by a team member and a management representative remind employees that there are fellow workers regularly monitoring their safety. All employees are encouraged to report incidents, near incidents or potentially dangerous situations to their supervisors.”
