Cousins-Currie Ltd., a company perhaps best known as a manufacturer of low- and high-density polyethylene containers, has opened a new 150,000 sq. ft facility in Woodbridge, ON. The building will serve as the company’s new headquarters, as well as a production and warehousing facility. The company’s two original buildings located in Vaughan, ON, with a total of 100,000 sq. ft. of floor space will be used for production capacity.
According to Cousins-Currie president Sean Seawright, the new plant will be mainly used for production of large packaging containers from two to 30 L, and also larger consumer parts. Examples of consumer parts molded by the company include industrial and patio furniture, hardware items and sand-trap golf rakes.
Coinciding with the opening of the new plant, Cousins-Currie celebrated its 25th anniversary.
