Ampacet will build new compounding plant in BC

Color and additive masterbatch supplier Ampacet announced at NPE a number of acquisitions and expansions, including plans for a new 60,000-sq. ft. manufacturing facility in Delta, BC. The new plant will replace the existing plant in Delta, which was acquired in 1998 from Baron Colour Concentrates.
The facility will get new processing equipment and laboratory upgrades to ensure product quality in engineered resins. It is scheduled to be operational in the spring of 2004.
Ampacet is based in Tarrytown, NY, and has another Canadian facility in Kitchener, ON.
