Amcor purchases flexible packaging company

Amcor Ltd. will purchase Flexoprint and Packaging Ltd., a manufacturer of printed and laminated flexible packaging products based in New Zealand. Terms of the deal were not announced. According to reports, Amcor intends to run Flexoprint as a stand-alone business, which will continue to supply its existing customers, as well as Amcor’s New Zealand customers currently supplied from Australia. Amcor says it intends to further grow Flexoprint’s market position by leveraging innovative packaging technologies within Amcor’s global flexible business.
Amcor operates numerous manufacturing plants in Canada through its divisions, Amcor PET Packaging North America and Amcor Twinpak Americas Inc.
