After 45 years as CEO of Germany-based machinery supplier KraussMaffei Berstorff and head of extrusion at KraussMaffei Technologies GmbH, Manfred Reichel is stepping down.
Effective Oct. 1, 2010, Reichel is replaced by Hans Ulrich Golz. Golz also joins the managing board.
“In his 45 years with the company, Manfred Reichel has made an outstanding contribution to the development of both the KraussMaffei group and KraussMaffei Berstorff GmbH,” said Dietmar Straub, CEO of KraussMaffei AG. “He himself, his work, and his achievements have always been highly valued by customers and business partners, and by his colleagues at KraussMaffei.”
Reichel will continue to serve the company in an advisory capacity, Straub added.
Golz comes to KraussMaffei from MAG Powertrain GmbH, of Eislingen, Germany, a manufacturer of machine tools and manufacturing systems, where he has served as chairman and CEO since 2008.
