Toronto’s Gran Packaging will auction assets

Assets of Canadian plastic bag manufacturer Gran Packaging are set for auctioning in late-June.

According to a public auction notice, the auction will take place on June 24 at Gran Packaging’s production plant in Scarborough, Ont. The auction will also be broadcast online.

Toronto-based Gran Packaging is a division of paper packaging supplier Atlantic Packaging Products Ltd., also of Toronto.

According to the auction notice, the equipment on auction includes a Uteco Emerald eight-color flexographic press, a Feva six-color roll-to-roll flexographic press, eight T-shirt and merchandise bag lines, and five three-layer and monolayer blown film lines.
