Precimold acquires light manufacturer EJE Trans-Lite

Custom injection molder and tool maker Precimold Inc., has purchased specialized lighting company EJE Trans-Lite Inc. (EJETL) from product development firm Rutter Inc.

The terms of the sale have not been disclosed.  

EJETL manufactures lighting for search and rescue operations. Originally set up in Montreal in 1988, the company relocated to Newfoundland. Its patented Digi-Lite is widely-used on onboard life jackets in the regulated cruise line industry. .

Precision Concepts International Inc. (PCI), a division of Candiac, Que.-based Precimold, will be dedicated to the sales and marketing of all current and future products, and all manufacturing and final assembly work will be transferred gradually to Precimold’s Candiac plant as required regulatory approvals are acquired.
