Milacron completes Mold-Masters purchase

Plastics technology business Milacron LLC has completed its acquisition of Canadian hot runner specialist Mold-Masters Ltd.

Georgetown, Ont.-based Mold-Masters was sold by London-based investment firm 3i Group in February 2012 in a deal valued at Cdn$975 million. Under the terms of the transaction, Milacron acquired 100 per cent of the shares of Mold-Masters.

Bill Barker, president and CEO of Mold Masters, will continue to lead that business.
