KraussMaffei Berstorff names new president

Munich-based equipment manufacturer The KraussMaffei Group has appointed Peter Roos as the new manager for its extrusion segment.

The 50-year-old Roos, a mechanical engineer, will manage the group-wide activities of the KraussMaffei Berstorff brand, and will also act as managing director of KraussMaffei Berstorff GmbH in Hanover. Roos succeeds Hans Ulrich Golz in the top spot of KraussMaffei Berstorff.

Prior to joining KraussMaffei, Roos served as CEO of Finnish-Swiss extruder maker Maillefer Extrusion.
