KraussMaffei to appoint new head of machine technology division

Germany-based injection molding machine and automation maker KraussMaffei is appointing Dr. Stefan Kruppa as its new head of machine technology effective August 1.

Kruppa will take over from KraussMaffei’s current head of machine technology Dr. Reinhard Schiffers, who is leaving the company.

Since 2010, Kruppa has been working as a development engineer and project manager in the machine technology department at KraussMaffei. In 2015, he obtained his Ph.D. from the University of Duisburg-Essen in Germany.

“We are delighted to have gained the services of Dr. Kruppa, an experienced developer and visionary in digital plastics processing, as head of the machine technology department,” said Dr. Hans Ulrich Golz, president of the injection molding machinery segment at the KraussMaffei Group and managing director of KraussMaffei Technologies GmbH. “Due to his excellent personal and technical skills, he will help to strengthen and expand this important business unit for KraussMaffei.”
