Hot runner systems supplier Incoe Corporation USA has announced plans to build a new US$20 million, 135,000-square-foot global headquarters facility in Auburn Hills, Mich.
Currently headquartered in Troy, Mich., Incoe’s new HQ – which will be located in the Oakland Technology Park in Auburn Hills – is scheduled to be complete by summer 2018.
The goal is to consolidate and expand operations from Incoe’s three separate locations in the Metro Detroit area into one fully functional facility, the firm said in a news release. Incoe’s current HQ in Troy has 52,000 square feet of space.
The company has also expanded its Asian headquarters in Shanghai and its European headquarters in Germany since 2013.
“An investment into expanding our footprint demonstrates Incoe’s commitment to be one of the leading hot-runner system suppliers in the world,” said Eric J. Seres Jr., president and CEO of Incoe. “Creating more office and manufacturing space will bring about operational efficiency gains needed to best serve our customers throughout North America and allow us to continue to be competitive in the global market for years to come.”
