Italy-based extrusion machinery maker Colines SpA is coming to North America with the opening of a U.S. subsidiary, Colines Corp. USA, based in Hauppauge, N.Y.
The new company will be fully operational starting from September 2016, Colines said in a statement, and will enable it to provide faster response times in local support. “A resident technical staff will be a full-time presence and will guarantee shorter travel distances,” the statement said.
“We have selected the State of New York as location because it is one of the best technological pole in the USA and can be easily reachable from all destinations,” the statement continued. “This marks a major milestone in our company growth in the North American markets.”
Colines currently has three production units based near Milan, Italy.
