Davis-Standard signs partnership deal with China’s Jinming Machinery

In a move designed to expand their global footprints, extrusion equipment maker Davis-Standard LLC and China’s Guangdong Jinming Machinery Co. Ltd have formed a strategic partnership to market blown film machinery.

According to Pawcatuck, Conn.-based Davis-Standard, Jinming has been appointed as sales representative for the Davis-Standard blown film product line in Asian markets, while Davis-Standard has become the exclusive distributor of Jinming’s blown film product line in Europe (including Russia and the European Union), Africa, Australia/New Zealand, and North and South Americas.

“We are anticipating jointly developing products that will utilize the strengths of each company to benefit our customers globally,” said Fred Pereira, Davis-Standard’s president in the Asia-Pacific region.
