Davis-Standard appoints news senior sales engineer

Extrusion equipment maker Davis-Standard LLC has named Gerry Sposato as senior sales engineer for its sheet and foam group.

Sposato will be responsible for sales of new capital equipment for Davis-Standard’s sheet and foam product lines in the province of Ontario, and in the U.S. states of Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky, West Virginia, western Pennsylvania, and Ohio.
Sposato has more than 25 years of domestic and international sales experience in extrusion systems, including 10 years with Pawcatuck, Conn.-based Davis-Standard as well as leadership positions with Welex and HPM America LLC. Sposato also co-founded Argosy Wind Power, a manufacturer of distributive wind turbines. He has a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree from American International College in Springfield, Mass.
