Name change for flexible packager Seville Plastics

The Toronto-based Seville Plastics Inc. – a wholly-owned part of Covertech Fabricating Inc. – is changing its name to Covertech Flexible Packaging Inc. as of September 1, 2013.

Seville Plastics was purchased by Covertech Fabricating in 2012 for an undisclosed sum.

“With the two companies now under one umbrella, the new name better reflects the Covertech corporate strategy that integrates the manufacturing process of film extrusion and flexible packaging manufacturing,” Covertech Fabricating said in a statement. Headquartered in Etobicoke, Ont., Covertech Fabricating is a manufacturer of both co-ex and monolayer extruded film.

There are no changes to staff or to the management team, and all contacts remain constant.
