U.S.-based PSI-Polymer Systems Inc., a supplier of polymer filtration equipment, gear pumps, mixers and divert valves, has opened a new subsidiary in Germany to serve the European market.

The subsidiary company, called PSI-Polymer Systems Europe GmbH, is located in Talheim, a German town near Heilbronn. Headed by Manfred Wege, former managing director of Dynisco Europe GmbH, the subsidiary will serve as a sales and distribution office for Europe, and will stock systems and spare parts. “Product manufacturing will continue to take place at PSI’s Conover, N.C. headquarters, but the Talheim subsidiary will provide systems configurations and value-added services,” said Glenn Woodcock, president of PSI.

“Our customer base is rapidly expanding there and we needed a local presence to serve the market,” Woodcock added.
