Ontario’s Exco Technologies buys BE&H Extrusion Dies

Markham, Ont.-based die cast and extrusion equipment maker Exco Technologies Limited has purchased BE & H Extrusion Dies, an extrusion die manufacturer located in Wylie Texas.
The purchase price was approximately $1.5 million.
BE & H services the south-central region of the U.S. and will be operated as Exco Texas.
According to Exco, the acquisition will increase its group sales by approximately five per cent.
“The acquisition of Exco Texas, in addition to bolstering our presence in the south-central region of the United States, will provide additional and much needed capacity to the group in order to meet the resurgent demand for extrusion dies as the U.S. recovery continues to take root,” the company said in a statement.
Exco currently services the North American extrusion tooling market, including a number of automotive industries, from their Markham plant and one in Chesterfield, Mich.
