Mississauga, Ont.-based plastic film and sheet extrusion machinery supplier Macro Engineering & Technology Inc. has promoted Jim Stobie to the new position of CEO.
Stobie had been serving as the company’s vice president of sales and marketing.
In his new role, Stobie will oversee engineering, manufacturing, sales, marketing and services at Macro from the company’s headquarters, the company said.
Stobie, who joined Macro in 1993 and held the role of sales manager from 1997 to 2006, rejoined Macro in 2012 after a six-year stint as vice president of sales at blown film maker Brampton Engineering.
