Dow names new executives for plastics units

The Dow Chemical Company has announced two promotions within its plastics businesses.

Midland, Mich.-based Dow has named Greg Jozwiak as business president of its Elastomers and Electrical and Telecommunications business. For the past three years, Jozwiak, had served as commercial vice president of Dow’s packaging & Specialty Plastics (P&SP) unit.

Dow Electrical & Telecommunications provides a variety of products and technologies to the power and telecommunications markets.

And replacing Jozwiak as the new North America commercial vice president for Dow’s P&SP business is Karen Carter. Most recently, she served as global business director, Low Density & Slurry Polyethylene, as well as global marketing director for the business’s value chain, sustainability, and new business development initiatives for P&SP.

Dow P&SP is Dow’s largest business unit with annualized revenues of nearly US$13 billion in 2014.
