Hot runner manufacturer Mold-Masters Ltd. has opened of its first direct Mexican sales and service centre in the Toluca, Mexico.
The new centre will encompass hot runner maintenance and repairs; support for Georgetown, Ont.-based Mold-Masters' PET business, including maintenance and refurbishments; and also provide local spare parts inventory for all Mold-Masters products.
According to a press release, the centre is designed to strengthen Mold Masters’ base in what it sees as an important growth market. "Mexico is the largest PET market in Latin America and it is critical that we support this market locally," said Manfred Lausenhammer, vice president of sales, iPET Systems. "By opening a local service centre in Mexico, it shows that iPET is committed to its customers and the future of the Mexican market.”
