The Trade Commissioners Service is supporting a BMW Supplier Diversity Matchmaker Conference being held April 6, 2017 by BMW South Carolina. This free event will take place in Greenville, South Carolina – a 2 hour drive from Atlanta, Georgia. Any women-, minority-, veteran-, or First Nations/aboriginal-owned companies are invited to attend. There will be over 150 Tier 1s present, all of them with a mandate from BMW to diversify their supply base.

In addition to traditional parts suppliers, they are interested in meeting firms in the connectivity, electrification, light-weighting, autonomous vehicle, and advanced manufacturing sectors. The Consulate General of Atlanta will staff a booth with local Trade Commissioners who can make on the spot connections to procurement personnel from BMW and others.
