New owner for Simcoe Plastics

There’s a new owner of Canadian resin broker Simcoe Plastics Ltd.

The Shanty Bay, Ont.-based company was recently purchased from former owner Bill Wheeler by Kurt Stahle, a 25-year industry veteran with 12 years’ experience in resin sales.

Founded in 1980, the company sells ABS, color concentrates, nylon, polypropylene and polyethylene (filled, unfilled, natural and black), and specialty additives for such markets as automotive, custom molding, construction, consumer product and recreational product markets.
