“Canadian Plastics Pioneers 1950-2000” book launch

Continuing the story of “Canadian Inventors and Innovators 1885 to 1950: Pioneering Plastics” by Donald W. Emmerson, this new book by business writer Kara Kuryllowicz takes us through the history of the Canadian plastics industry from 1950 to 2000; from the experimental 1950s, to the steady growth of the ’60s and the heyday of the ’70s, to the rise of new competition and image concerns in the 1980s and ’90s. The book will be officially launched at this function.
