Wittmann Battenfeld establishes Romanian subsidiary

Auxiliary equipment and injection molding machine supplier Wittmann Battenfeld has opened a sales and service subsidiary in Bucharest, Romania.

Called “Wittmann Battenfeld Srl”, the office will be managed by Bogdan Nestor, a veteran of the Romanian plastics industry.

“We see Romania as the country with the greatest growth potential of all the new EU states,” said company owner Dr Werner Wittmann. “This market entry is another step in our ongoing expansion policy in Eastern Europe.”

Wittmann Battenfeld’s Canadian headquarters is located in Richmond Hill, Ont.
