Competition entrants may submit parts in several categories, depending on the type of thermoforming operation, including:

  • Roll-fed categories: Industrial, medical or food.
  • Heavy-gauge categories: Vacuum form, pressure form and two new categories, twin sheet and TPO.
  • Combined: Entrants may submit parts comprised of a minimum of 40 per cent recycled content.

“The theme of the 2016 Conference is ‘Forming the Future’’, said Matt O’Hagan, 2016 Parts Competition Chair and SPE Thermoforming Division board member. “The 25th anniversary of the conference will celebrate the success of the thermoforming industry. Parts that point the way toward the future of thermoforming are of special interest.”

Guidelines for competition entrants and the required product entry form are available at this link.
