Sabic to host tech innovation seminar in Toronto

Sabic Innovative Plastics, formerly known as GE Plastics, will host a free technology innovation seminar on Nov. 6 in Toronto. The event will take place at the Westin Bristol Place Toronto Airport hotel, with registration from 9 to 10 a.m., and seminars from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The event will feature Sabic Innovative Plastics’ product general manager Mike Werner, with seminar sessions on advanced processing technologies; evolution in plastic sheet and film; fluid engineering; material selection and education; material solutions for use in electromagnetic shielding applications; new and innovative plastics for painted applications; new application technologies; part design fundamentals; selection and use of polymer for healthcare applications; specialty fibers, textiles and non-wovens; teardowns; thermoplastic technologies for the air, marine, and RV markets; and material trends for the defense industry.
