Packaging solutions supplier PC&D bought by management team, private equity firm

Packaging Concepts + Design LLC (PC&D), a U.S.-based provider of packaging solutions for global Tier 1 automotive suppliers and OEMs, has been purchased by its management team and private equity firm O2 Investment Partners LLC.

The terms of the deal were not disclosed. 

Founded in 1914 and headquartered in Troy, Mich., PC&D designs and delivers packaging for global Tier 1 automotive suppliers and OEMs, including design, engineering, sourcing, integrated packaging, program management, assembly and logistics. It also serves the consumer, retail and food/beverage markets. 

 “We now have the resources to take advantage of the significant growth we see in our existing markets as well as capture market share in other niche segments that we do not currently serve,” Richard Kaspers, president and CEO of PC&D, said in a statement.
