Packager grabs another gold award

Pliant Corporation has won its second DuPont Gold award at the 2001 Flexible Packaging Achievement Awards. Pliant, which operates 26 manufacturing and R&D facilities around the world, including four in Canada, won the Food Category competition with its redesigned Eldorado Farms Market Prize Peeled Carrots bag for fresh carrots. The award recognized the consumer-friendly and convenient slide closure package. The 15th annual award’s competition honors excellence in food processing and packaging technology.
