Novatec appoints new regional VP, systems sales

Drying, blending and pneumatic conveying systems manufacturer Novatec Inc., has named Donald Wood its regional vice president for systems sales in the western United States.
Wood has been in the plastics auxilliary equipment business since 1992, when he began as an application engineer with Sterling Inc., now part of the ACS Group.
“One of Novatec’s longtime specialties is the custom engineering of complete raw material handling systems that incorporate conveying, drying, and blending equipment and controls,” Conrad Bessemer, Novatec’s CEO and managing partner, said. “Don will have chief responsibility for developing sales of such systems, assisting customers with specifying the equipment that best meets their requirements, and ensuring a high level of after-the-sale support.”
Novatec, an ISO 9001-certified company, is headquartered in Baltimore, Md.
