New plastics distributor enters Canada (October 16, 2002)

Channel Polymers, a full-service distributor of a diverse line of thermoplastic and rubber materials in the U.S. and Mexico, has expanded into Canada. The company is a wholly owned division of H. Muehlstein & Co. focused on distribution of prime materials to molding and extrusion convertors.
Channel’s product portfolio includes BP/Amoco, Sunoco Polypropylene, Kepital, Atofina, Channel’s Certene polypropylene, nylon, PE, PS, plus a line of compounded products from H. Muehlstein & Co. Andrew Spicer, formerly of Albis Plastics & A. Schulman, has been retained as the company’s new senior sales specialist.
