Toyo injection molding machines will make their Canadian debut in May at Plast-Ex. Manufacturerd by Toyo Machinery and Metal Co., Ltd. of Japan, the injection molding machines will be represented in Ontario and Quebec by Dier International Inc., through an affiliation with Maruka USA, which inventories Toyo machines and parts in the United States.
Toyo offers Canadian molders a complete line of all-electric injection molding machines ranging from 35 to 750 tons; hydraulic toggle machines (35-500 tons) and a series of vertical injection molding machines (55-150 ton).
"Toyo was one of the very earliest pioneers in the manufacture of electric injection molding machines," says Greg Reid, Dier’s president. "They have been producing them for close to two decades".
He is especially enthusiastic about the electric series, "with its extraordinary versatility, power saving qualities and long lasting accuracy and durability for high cycle operation." A 110-ton machine will be operating at Dier’s booth at the Plast-Ex show in Toronto, May 3 to 6.
