Macro Engineering secures extrusion line for Toyota

Mississauga, Ont.-based extrusion system manufacturer Macro Engineering & Technology Inc. have placed an order for a complete custom extrusion system for a major automotive supplier.

According to Macro, Toyota Boshoku Canada Inc. a subsidiary of Toyota has accepted the companys proposal for the design, manufacture and installation of a custom-built extrusion coating line for use during the production of new automobiles.

The line is scheduled to be installed in 2008 at a new, undisclosed Southern Ontario Toyota facility.

This is a hugely important order for Macro, said Steven Shi, area sales manager for Macro. We are very happy to be involved in a project with such a respected company as Toyota.
