Komtech gets QS 9000

Custom injection molder Komtech Plastics recently celebrated obtaining its QS 9000 registration. Certification to the standard is essential for the company’s strategic plans to expand its automotive business, says president and CEO Raj Mathur. According to Mathur, Komtech is the first manufacturing company in Ottawa to obtain QS 9000 status.
"We are really proud of this achievement and hard work put in by our people during the certification process," says Mathur. He reports that the company has already seen tangible process improvements as a result of going through the QS 9000 registration process.
