Extrusion equipment alliance inked

Davis-Standard Corp., a manufacturer of extrusion equipment, and Coperion Corp., a maker of compounding equipment, have signed an agreement to cooperate in the supply of complete systems for direct extrusion in the NAFTA market.
Under terms of the agreement, Coperion becomes Davis-Standard’s exclusive supplier of twin screw co-rotating compounding equipment utilizing the Coperion Werner & Pfleiderer ZSK, and single screw reciporocating compounders utilizing the Coperion Buss Kneader. Davis-Standard will be the exclusive supplier of in-line compounding systems utilizing such compounding equipment.
