Dow offers Dowlex 2344 PE resin in North America

The Dow Chemical Company has made its Dowlex 2344 polyethylene (PE) resin commercially available in North America.
The Dowlex 2344 has raised temperature resistance for domestic and industrial radiant floor heating pipe applications. It has a PPI listing at 180 degrees and is a competitive choice for non-potable heating pipe applications covered by class 1, 2, 4 and 5 of ISO 10508.
“Dow has a successful track record with this innovative product in Europe and is now excited to make it commercially available in North America,” Heather Lau, Dow’s North America market manager for plastic pipe, said.
Dow is a global resin supplier with annual sales of $46 billion and approximately 42,000 employees worldwide. The company’s Canadian headquarters is located in Etobicoke, Ont.
