Car sales are down due to rising gas prices, with the result that auto makers like GM are reducing assembly capacity in certain areas. Added to such pressures as rising feedstock prices and the strong Canadian dollar, and it’s no wonder that auto parts molders are already feeling the effects.

This week, we go behind the scenes and speak with two Southern Ontario auto parts molders that fell victim to this harsh reality.
