BASF announces North American management assignments

Global chemicals manufacturing corporation BASF has announced a series of leadership appointments for several of its North American business units.
Cenan Ozmeral, Group Vice President of BASF’s Petrochemicals, Plasticizers and Solvents business in North America, has been named Group Vice President
of the company’s North American Functional Polymers business based in Charlotte, N.C.
Peter L. Cella, Chief Executive Officer, Nitriles Business,INEOS Group Limited, Chicago, Ill., will join BASF on April 17, 2006 and will succeed Ozmeral as Group Vice President, Petrochemicals, Plasticizers
and Solvents.
Jay N. Baker, Group Vice President of BASF’s Engineering Plastics business in North America, has been named Group Vice President for the company’s
North American Coatings Solutions business based in Southfield, Mich.
Michael Anthony Britt, Director, Sales, of BASF’s Asia Pacific Engineering Plastics business, based in Singapore, will join BASF Corporation in North
America, and will succeed Baker as Group Vice President, Engineering Plastics located in Wyandotte, Mich.
All appointments are effective May 1, 2006.
