Ampacet consolidates Canadian operations

Masterbatch supplier Ampacet Corporation is consolidating its Canadian operations from two production sites to one larger site in Kitchener, Ont.

According to Ampacet, this will cause the closure of the company’s plant in Delta, B.C. by the end of 2008.

“This decision is expected to offer improved efficiencies and added service within our Canadian served markets,” the company said in a press release. “Ampacet Canada will continue to support all customer activities in Western Canada through existing direct sales coverage, supported by local warehousing.”
